Friday night, Nick, Justin, Heather and I went out to eat at Olive Garden at like ten o`clock at night because it took Heather and I longer than we thought it would to work out at the gym. We had a blast. Then we all went bowling at twelve and didn`t get home until three something. Didn`t get much sleep because Nick and I didn`t get to sleep until like four something and then Heather called me at nine and invited us to the Nextel cup race. We headed up to North Carolina at eleven something and got there at one.

The race was awesome!! I love Dale Jr., but he didn`t race very long. He wrecked in like the 30th lap. :( So, I wasn`t really into the race after that. Jimmy Johnson won the race though. I`d rather him win than anyone else. We all got back to the hotel and Heathers mom is a extreme clean freak and she was freakin' out about sleeping in a hotel. We couldn`t stop laughing.

I haven`t had much sleep this weekend, but then again I haven`t had much sleep for the past couple of weekends.

one of my favorite things about starting a new journal is the initial feeling of being able to say whatever you want to say. it`s hard to be completely candid about one`s life when many other people [ mostly strangers ] are reading about it. but starting a new journal allows for at least a few entries of unlimited honesty. however, as the friend list grows, such intimate details are repressed and held back in order not to seem silly, bitchy, childish, or obsessive. even making a journal "friends only" does not mean it`s ultimately private and there is always going to be someone who has an opinion on your life or feelings.

i`ve had countless journals here @ livejournal over the last five years. and i`ve made many great friends ... several, in fact, have stayed with me over the years as i`ve switched journals due to drama issues, privacy concerns or simply wanting a new journal name.

all in all, i`m only adding people to this journal that i have a true interest in. if you`ve followed me from my old journal, that`s great! and of course, when i add people in the future, it will be because i think there are genuine common interests.

i hope to remain honest and candid throughout the existence of this journal.
